Listen-Hear! Is a new (non-profit) organisation working within the voluntary & community sector throughout East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton & Hove (although we are happy to travel to Kent & Surrey if the need arises).

We work with young people (7-25) and their families (if required). We hope to work in partnership with Schools, Colleges, Social & Caring Services, JAT and other agencies to ensure that ALL young people (and their families) are given the opportunity to receive the support that is appropriate for them.

Listen-Hear! Was formed by professionals who had previously worked within the support service environment coming from a range of professions, teaching, social work, intensive support work and a business background. We all felt there were often barriers to young people and families accessing support, often due to strict referral criteria which, we felt lead to gaps in provision. We at Listen-Hear! Believe, early intervention, along with sound partnership working is essential to prevent young people and their families 'falling through the net' of services which are available.
